Project VILLA MIRADOR

Sierra Crestellina

Sierra Bermeja

Municipality of Gaucín and its Castillo del Águila

Peñón de Gibraltar

África

Located in a finca with rustic land, in Gaucín.

Housing as an observation center to different relevant spaces:

We started from an idea of a somewhat irregular geometry, while fluid, without creating uncomfortable spaces and unnecessary distributors, and opening the views to the outside in any of its projected spaces, carefully preserving the privacy of the residents.

The proposed living area consists of 464.33 m2 on the ground floor, plus a terrace area with its own swimming pool.

The house is distributed in first floor, basement and a roof floor.

Ground Floor Module

The first floor is distributed through a living room module that leads to a space with views and the master bedroom, another space with views and two bedrooms, and the dining-kitchen. This last module gives access to a wine cellar and storage space.

Living room and wine cellar module

In the lounge module and the wine cellar module there are vertical cores, such as stairs and elevator respectively, that access different roofs and the basement rooms.

Basement floor module

The basement floor is organized from a versatile room (games, cinema,...). From this module we find the suite, two parking spaces (one for residents and one for service), and a last gym space, from which you can access the wet area (spa, jacuzzi,...).

Finally, there is the space for installations and the cistern necessary for the swimming pool underneath it.
All these modules are connected by English courtyards that match the breaks generated by the first floor housing.
